HANBURY - NR FECKENHAM
Hanbury is a vastly arable, grassland area with some woodland to ride through, criss crossed by quiet lanes you can take many routes on your ride.. access Berrow Hill and ride around it. Hanbury is good old hunting ground so there are quite good tracks to follow. You can also access Hanbury Woods if you wish to ride far enough. You are only a few miles from major towns but you wouldn't know it!!
KINVER EDGE - WOLVERLEY
Kinver Edge near Wolverley is a simply mistyfying place to ride, it encompasses a long history of cave dwellings of which a few can be seen as you ride through the Edge. Kinver Edge ismainly sandstone so makes for ideal riding in bad weather conditions, however some tracks are now well worn by local riders so may be wet. There are plenty of tracks which lead out of the Edge straight on to bridleways and you can create a circular route back to your parking point.. well worth a visit.
UPPER SAPEY - WOLFERLOW
Upper Sapey is situated in a beautifull rural area, with rolling hills and stunning views, riding goes for simply miles, you can ride along part of The Three Rivers Ride which joins other well known routes. There are pretty little villages to come across and quiet lanes to hack along. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen whilst out hacking too. Also situated near by is the Wolferlow Wigwam holidays where you can stay with your horse.. www.wolferlowwigwams.co.uk
ASTLEY BURF - STOURPORT ON SEVERN
Your Host will ride with you from this destination if you wish or you can park and go discover the area around Astley Burf . There are miles of pretty bridleways to follow, one such ride takes you over Glasshampton Monastery and out towards Abberley Hills.. near by is the stunning ruin of Witley Court. Some stages can be hilly but going is generaly good. There are some very busy road to cross on accasions so do be carefull.
WICHENFORD - OCKERIDGE
From your parking point you can access miles of lovely riding, venture through Ockeridge wood or hack along quiet lanes over to Martley and part of the Worcestershire Way towards Shelsley Walsh. There are many different routes to take. Our host can also escort you on your ride if need be and is happy to do so.
This is a gorgeous part of Worcestershire with rolling hills and contrasting scenery. enjoy..
