PPPs 1 to 6

PPP 1 - BISSELL WOOD – BLAKEDOWN

Bissell Wood is located near Blakedown. From this ride a range of mainly sandy bridleways can be accessed easily. You can ride as far as Clent Hills if you are more adventurous or simply hack for an hour. There is plenty to see and explore out around Blakedown.

 

PPP 2 - INKBERROW

This ride location provides miles of bridleways for you to access straight from the farm. With ample parking and a private access to the nearest bridleway you are spoilt for choice in which direction to go. Along the way you will come across quiet lanes, sunken tracks, open arable land & grassland to cover. Hack along quiet lanes past some stunning houses on your way. This is one not to be missed.

 

PPP 3 - STORRIDGE, MALVERN

The Suckley Hills are in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of Worcestershire. From some of the bridleways which criss cross Suckley and the surrounding area you are able to see the Malvern Hills. There are quiet lanes which connect the bridleways and you can ride for hours if you so wish. 

 

PPP 4 - HANBURY, NR FECKENHAM

Hanbury is a vastly arable, grassland area with some woodland to ride through, criss crossed by quiet lanes you can take many routes on your ride, access Berrow Hill and ride around it. Hanbury is good old hunting ground so there are quite good tracks to follow. You can also access Hanbury Woods if you wish to ride far enough. You are only a few miles from major towns but you wouldn't know it!! 

 

PPP 5 - KINVER EDGE, WOLVERLEY

Kinver Edge near Wolverley is a simply mystifying place to ride; it encompasses a long history of cave dwellings of which a few can be seen as you ride through the Edge. Kinver Edge is mainly sandstone so makes for ideal riding in bad weather conditions; however some tracks are now well worn by local riders so may be wet. There are plenty of tracks which lead out of the Edge straight on to bridleways and you can create a circular route back to your parking point. Well worth a visit.

 

PPP 6 - UPPER SAPEY, WOLFERLOW

Upper Sapey is situated in a beautiful rural area, with rolling hills and stunning views, riding goes for simply miles, you can ride along part of The Three Rivers Ride which joins other well known routes. There are pretty little villages to come across and quiet lanes to hack along. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen whilst out hacking too. Also situated nearby are the Wolferlow Wigwam holidays where you can stay with your horse. www.wolferlowwigwams.co.uk
